A musical experience for the eyes and ears: In the historic Nibelungen Hall in the Old Town Hall of Lorsch, six students and one graduate of Prof. Dr. Tilman Hoppstock's international master class enchanted the audience with delicate, virtuoso and passionate guitar sounds.

The guitarists and violinist from Mexico, Korea, Serbia, Italy, China, Kosovo, and Slovenia transported the enthusiastic audience back to the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods, as well as the modern era, demonstrating the versatility of their professional musical skills. Prof. Dr. Tilman Hoppstock, a Darmstadt-born concert guitarist, cellist, and musicologist who works at the Darmstadt Academy of Music, moderated the event.

The Nibelungen Hall was packed to capacity, and with its impressive mural depicting the history of the Lorsch monastery and the Nibelungen saga, it provided a fitting setting for the musical event. Art Lorsch was also present, offering a range of artistic products featuring Lorsch motifs that integrate art and culture into everyday life. An original painting by Ingrid Haupt-Rosenbaum conveyed an impression of what the Königshalle and Benediktinerplatz looked like a quarter of a century ago.

The Lorsch Association for the Promotion of Art and Culture hosted the concert. Klaus Jäger, chairman of the cultural promotion association, and Petra Weis, representative of the Lorsch City Music School and board member, were delighted by the audience's positive response. The concert was actively supported by the Lorsch City Culture and Tourism Office.
